In Brief
The SR3400 has been designed as a platform into which the user can install one or two Motorola Professional series mobile radios operating in one of four programmed modes. The case hardware is pre-drilled to accept a number of control modules, duplexer and Isolator options.
The SR3400 consists of a standard 3u high rack mounting case fitted with a switch mode power supply unit, fan, control card and interface connections.
Interface Options
Each SR3400 has a systems card installed as standard; this allows the unit to be used as a stand alone base station, a stand alone repeater and as a systems unit with a multi-way connector for interfacing to third party tone panels or systems infrastructure.
There is also an option to install the AWCSL line interface card within the SR3400 offering full line control of the base station using either Tone Remote or M80 line signalling.
To ensure future compatibility the SR3400 also has an option for the installation of an AWCSL IP interface, providing IP control of the base station.
