About Us

AW Communication Systems Ltd. is a small company specializing in the design and manufacture of radio control solutions for the PMR industry.

Our award-winning product portfolio ranges from simple single channel controllers through to scalable, modular multi-channel multi-operator switching solutions which are available off the shelf. We can also design custom hardware and software solutions for customers individual needs, ranging from adaptation of our standard products through to completely new product design.

Our products are manufactured by us on site in our own modern production facilty. We are an ISO 9001 registered firm.

History

A.W. Communications started trading in 1991 when they developed a common headset solution for use in communications control centres. This product and its variants kept the company busy for many years. From this the company moved into designing its own range of stand alone desk top radio controllers and control switches. In 2004, due to the company expanding it became incorporated and became A.W. Communication Systems Limited. Development work continued along with an increase in staff.

Award Winning

In 2006 AWCSL won the coveted FCS Gerald David OBE Innovation in Business Radio Award for the development of the TRip PMR VoIP gateway, and again won this award in 2008 for the TRICX VoIP radio switch system. These awards prove the commitment of the management and staff at AWCSL to the continued development of innovative solutions for the communications industry.
